Tsofi -Turkey Tail

Recipe and Directions for Tsofi

10lbs about 10 big pieces of Turkey tails
1/2 lb Onion
1lb Ginger
Pepper(optional)
3 tsp Maggi pollo seasoning
pinch of Salt
12 oz of vegetable/canola/ olive oil
Procedure/Directions

Wash clean the turkey
 Cut of excessive fat off the tail, and you can peel the  skin as well but i love the skin 
 Cut into desired sizes
Season with blended ginger, onion mixture
 Add  a cup of water , the maggi pollo seasoning
 Add salt pinch of salt if needed.
 Cover the pan and steam under medium  heat for about 15-20 min.  stirring occasionally.
Drain the water off and let the turkey dry off
Then Heat the oil in a deep skillet for about 5 mins on medium heat
 Start deep frying the tails for 3-5 min or till golden brown.
Serve with fried yam, banku etc
