Waakye Stew
Waakye Stew Recipe and Procedure
7oz of cooking oil
16oz of blended ginger
7oz of blended onions
1 big onion (sliced)
2lbs of goat mean with skin
6 Tps of powdered hot pepper
6- 7oz of tomato sauce
1 7oz of tomato paste
2tps of curry powder
1 Tp of adobo
2tps of nutmeg
4 Maggie shrimp cub
Procedure
✔️Heat the oil for like 3mins
✔️Add the sliced onion and 4 Maggie cubes
✔️Cook for 2mins
✔️Add blended ginger and onion
✔️Stir and allow it to cook for 7mins
✔️Add your steamed meat ( your own preference)
✔️Stir and cook for another 5mins
✔️Add the powdered hot pepper
✔️Stir it and allow it to cook for 7mins
✔️Add the tomato sauce along with the paste and stir
✔️Leave to cook for 15mins and a medium fire
✔️Add 2 Tps of curry powder ,1 tsp of adobo
and 2 tsp of nutmeg
✔️Stir till it's all mixed completely
✔️Lower the fire and leave it to cook for 30mins
Serve with Waakye paired with gari and shito
You did not use all your ingredient in your preparation. Please clarify. Where is your blended onions and tomato paste. Some of us are learning so please when you post your preparation make sure they are detailed to the core
